Add families: invite, signup link, add by hand, approve

This article shows you four ways to bring families into your co-op.

Before you start

• Your plan sets how many families you can have: Free 10, Sprout 35, Grow 75, Thrive 200. Invites not accepted yet count too.
• Emailing invites to typed-in addresses needs Sprout or higher. The link works on every plan.

Share your signup link

1. Go to Families & students and click Invite families.
2. Open the Share Link tab and click Copy Link.
3. Paste it in your own email, newsletter or group chat.

Email invites (Sprout and up)

1. Click Invite families and open Send by Email.
2. Type Email addresses, one per line or separated by commas.
3. Add a note if you like, then click Send invitations.

Add a family by hand

1. Click Add a family.
2. Fill in Parent first name, Parent last name, Parent email (required) and Parent phone, then each child's name, birthdate and grade. Use + Add another child for more.
3. Tick the box confirming you have the family's permission. Tick Email them an invitation to join now if you want to email them now (this works on every plan).
4. Click Review →, check the summary, then click Add family →.

Don't enter health, allergy, emergency or pickup details. Parents add those themselves.

Approve a join request

1. Go to Join requests. These are families who asked to join from your website.
2. Open a request in the New tab.
3. Click Approve and send invite, Waitlist or Decline. Declined families aren't emailed, and you can use Move back to New later.

What happens next

Families who haven't signed up yet appear under Invites not accepted yet. Use Send invite or Resend on a row, or the Send all button above the list to email every invite that hasn't been sent. When a parent signs up, they confirm their children and can register for classes.

Common problems

• You see You've reached your family limit? Upgrade your plan, or cancel invites you no longer need.
• A parent can't find the email? Click Resend, or send them your signup link.
• Wrong email on an invite? Cancel the invite and add the family again with the right email.
