This article shows you how to set up, design and publish your free program website, and choose what families fill in to ask to join.
Before you start
- You are a director. Your website is included on every plan and stays hidden until you publish it.
Set up and publish
- Go to Settings → Pages & design. The Overview tab opens.
- Under Your website address, type the end of your address (learningsense.org/c/your-name).
- Set New families to Accepting new families, Waitlist only or Not accepting new families.
- Pick a Main button: Request to join, Request a tour or Ask about joining.
- Turn on Published, click Save changes, then View website to see it. Use Copy to share the address.
Write your pages
- Open the Pages & sections tab. Fill in About, Days and hours, Fees, Questions and Links.
- Under Sections, turn sections on or off and set their order.
- Open the Design tab to add a logo or cover photo (under 5 MB) and pick a color.
Set the join form and policies
- Go to Settings → Join form & policies.
- On Join form, choose what to ask About each child and About the family, and add Your questions.
- On Policies & documents, write a policy or upload a PDF (under 5 MB). Check Show on website and, if needed, Must agree to join.
- Add a note under Reply to families and click Save.
What happens next
- Your live classes, fees and dates come from your semesters and classes, so the site stays current.
- Requests to join land in Join requests. Approving one sends the family an invite.
- Unless New families is set to Not accepting new families, the page also shows a Request a tour button. Tour requests land in Join requests with a Tour tag. Ask about joining opens a short question form that emails you.
- Your website never shows children's information. Don't add children's names or photos.
Common problems
- No join requests coming in? Check that the site is Published and New families isn't set to Not accepting new families.
- Image won't upload? Use one under 5 MB.
- Policy families already agreed to can't be deleted? Turn off Show and Must agree instead.
