Calendar, events and volunteering

This article helps you see your family's calendar, answer event RSVPs and sign up for volunteer shifts.

Before you start

• Your co-op must use the calendar and volunteering tools. If Calendar or Volunteering is missing from your menu, your co-op doesn't use it.

See your calendar

1. Go to Calendar (under My family, or the bottom tab on a phone).
2. It opens on the week. You see your own children's classes plus co-op events, important dates, sign-up deadlines and your volunteer shifts.
3. Tap a child's name to see only their schedule.

RSVP to an event

1. Click the event on the calendar to open its details.
2. Choose Going, Maybe or Can't make it.

If the event is full, Going changes to Event full. After the RSVP date, the event shows RSVPs are closed; if you said Going, you can still change to Can't make it.

Sign up to volunteer

1. Go to Volunteering. Shifts that still need help are under Open shifts. Use Filters to narrow by type or time.
2. Click a shift to see the details, then click Sign up.
3. In Sign up for this shift?, click Sign up.
4. Your shifts are under My sign-ups. To drop one, click Cancel, then Cancel sign-up.

What happens next

• We email you to confirm a volunteer sign-up, and again about 24 hours before the shift.
• We email you to confirm your RSVP.
• After the shift, your director can mark your sign-up Done or Missed.

Common problems

• A shift says Full? Every spot is taken. Full shifts are hidden from the list until you click Show full shifts. Check back, or message the contact on the shift.
• No Cancel button? The sign-up deadline passed or the shift already happened. Message your director.
• Can't RSVP or sign up? A second parent can see the family's answers and shifts but only the main parent can change them.
• Don't see a class on the calendar? Only your own children's classes appear.
