Join your co-op and find your way around

This article helps you accept your co-op's invitation, create your account and find your way around.

Before you start

  • You need an invitation from your director: an email invite or a signup link they shared with you.
  • If you asked to join from your co-op's website, wait for your director to approve you. You get the invitation email after they do.
  • One LearningSense account belongs to one co-op (or program).

Steps

  1. Open the invitation link. The page says You have been invited to join and your co-op's name.
  2. Click Sign up with Google, or fill in Family Name, Email Address, Password and Confirm Password. If your invite came by email, that address is already filled in.
  3. Check the box to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  4. Click Join (the button shows your co-op's name). You land on Today.
  5. Already have an account? Click Sign in instead, agree to the terms and click Continue.

Find your way around

  • Today: what needs you (payments, RSVPs, absences, new messages), your Family schedule for today or the week, payments and announcements.
  • My family: My children, Classes, Assignments and Calendar.
  • Co-op: Messages, Announcements, Volunteering and Directory.
  • Account: Payments. Settings is pinned to the bottom.
  • On a phone, tabs run along the bottom: Today, Classes, Calendar, Payments and Messages. Tap More for the rest and to sign out.

You only see the tools your co-op uses. A Parents Day Out program sees its own words, like Rooms instead of Classes.

What happens next

Today asks you to Add your children first. If your director already added them, Today asks you to confirm each child is yours. When registration opens, a Register for button appears at the top of your menu.

Common problems

  • The link says Invitation not found? It expired or was replaced. Ask your director for a new link.
  • The page says the co-op is full? Your co-op reached its plan's family limit. Ask your director for help.
  • Already linked to a co-op? Your email already belongs to another program. Use a different email, or contact support.
  • Add your children: health, pickup people and what teachers see
  • Register your child for classes
  • Your account: contact info, emails and deleting your account
