Register your child for classes

This article helps you sign your children up for classes when your co-op opens registration for a semester (or session).
Before you start
- Add each child first, with the right grade level.
- Your director must open the semester for registration. Some co-ops open registration in waves, so your family may start on a later day than others.
Steps
- Click Register for (with the semester's name) at the top of your menu. You can also use Register on the Next term card in My children.
- Pick a child in the filters. Classes outside their grade appear under Not eligible for (child)'s grade.
- On a class, click Enroll with your child's name. The first time for each child, confirm you are their parent or guardian.
- If the child already has a class at that time, you are asked whether to enroll anyway. It is only a warning.
- When you are done choosing, look at the summary. If nothing is due today, click Confirm Enrollment.
- If something is due today, choose Pay with Bank Account or Pay with Card. On a phone, tap Review & Pay first.
If a class is full
- Click Join waitlist for your child. You see Added to waitlist.
- When a spot opens, we email you.
- If your director holds a seat for you, the class shows Seat held: enroll your child with an Until time. Enroll before then to keep it.
What happens next
Your children show as enrolled, and a What happens next box lists when classes start, any waitlists, and what you owe and when. If your co-op asks for payment at enrollment, the class shows the spot as held until your payment goes through. Card payments clear right away; bank payments take 3 to 5 business days to clear. Monthly tuition is not charged at registration; it comes later as a monthly invoice. You see You're all paid for this semester when nothing is left to pay.
Common problems
- The page says registration opens later? Your wave or the semester's window hasn't opened yet. Check back on the date shown.
- The page says enrollment is closed? Message your director to add or drop a class.
- Stuck on Waiting on your bank verification? Click Complete verification, or choose Use a different bank instead or Pay by card instead.
- Removed a class you already paid for? Money isn't refunded automatically. Contact your director.
