Turn on autopay

This article helps you save a bank account or card so your monthly tuition invoices are paid automatically.
Plan: Grow and Thrive.
Before you start
- Your co-op must be on a plan with monthly tuition and take payments online. If you don't see an Autopay card on your Payments page, your co-op doesn't offer it.
- You must be the main parent on the account.
Steps
- Go to Payments. (Or go to Settings → Payment method & autopay, which opens the same page.)
- On the Autopay card, click Set up autopay.
- On the secure Stripe page, add a bank account or a card and save it.
- Back on Payments, a message confirms your method is saved, and the card reads Autopay: On.
Turn autopay off or change your method
- Click Autopay: On to switch it off. You see Autopay turned off.
- Click Update payment method to save a different bank or card.
What happens next
- Each monthly invoice shows Scheduled with the date it Charges automatically on.
- You can still pay a scheduled invoice yourself with Pay early instead.
- Autopay pays monthly tuition invoices. Other bills, like a registration fee or a one-time invoice from your director, still need you to click Pay now.
- Card charges clear right away. Bank charges take 3 to 5 business days to clear and show Clearing until then.
- You pay exactly the invoice total. No fees are added.
Common problems
- A charge didn't go through? The invoice shows Charge failed, and we email you. Autopay does not try that invoice again, so pay it from Payments and update your method.
- Your card expired? Click Update payment method before the next charge date.
- Autopay won't turn on? Save a payment method first with Set up autopay.
