This article helps you choose which tools your program uses and shows what each plan includes.
Before you start
- You are a director of the program.
Steps
- Go to Settings → Tools. Tools are grouped under People, Program, Finances, Community and Website.
- Find the tool and flip its switch.
- You see Turned on. It's back in your menu and your families' menu. or Turned off. It's hidden from menus; nothing was deleted.
What the labels mean
- Always on: core tools you can't switch off (Families & students, Teachers & staff, Terms & registration, Billing & payments, Messages). Your website shows Included with a Set up → link.
- A plan name with a lock (for example Grow plan) and an Upgrade to Grow button: the tool needs a higher plan.
What each plan includes
- Free ($0, up to 10 families): classes, registration, attendance, online payments, the family portal, announcements, messages, family directory, staff records, second parent, co-directors and your website.
- Sprout ($29/mo, up to 35 families): adds calendar and events, volunteering, email invites, removing LearningSense branding, rooms and the schedule checker, and copying a term forward.
- Grow ($59/mo, up to 75 families): adds monthly tuition and scheduled billing with autopay, finance reports and the QuickBooks export, assignments, grades and report cards, and registration waves.
- Thrive ($99/mo, up to 200 families): adds the instructional hours report.
- More than 200 families: talk to us about the Network plan.
What happens next
A tool you turn off leaves your menu and your families' menu. Its data stays, and it comes back when you turn it on again. If you move to a lower plan, you can still read what you made, but you can't add or change it. A tool that was on shows Hidden from families until you upgrade.
Common problems
- A switch is grayed out? The tool needs a higher plan. Click Upgrade to and the plan name.
- Can't find Report cards in the menu? Turn on Assignments & grades. Programs that don't grade, like Mother's Day Out, can leave it off.
